Bites of Knowledge

Bites of Knowledge is a small Javascript-enabled web page which provides links to random (!) pages in scanned books, mostly encyclopaedias. This way you have immediated access to a large, and above all ever surprising, range of tidbits of knowledge. Most of the books are hosted by Archive.org, but there are other sources as well, like the Hathi Trust and the French Gallica.

Bites of Knowledge: Greek and Roman Antiquities presents randomized links to books about Greek and Roman antiquities, covering institutions, customs, mythology, persons, objects, but also ancient geography. You can get it from the Download-section (sub-section Various).
